The Challenge

A client approached 3D Kartzy with a deeply sentimental sculpture created by an artist friend. Made of play-dough, the original piece was inherently temporary and already beginning to degrade. The goal was to create a permanent, 1:1 scale replica that captured the "fresh" look of the original artwork before it was lost to time.

Rapid Capture: Utilizing only four high-resolution photos, we employed advanced AI photogrammetry to generate a complete 3D digital twin of the sculpture. Minimal Intervention: The digital model was so accurate that no cleanup was required beyond flattening the base for stability, ensuring every thumbprint and artistic nuance from the original was preserved. Material Excellence: The final piece was printed in Marble PLA, providing a sophisticated, stone-like finish that elevated the handmade sculpture into a museum-quality art object.
